Guests of The Clifford Pier at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore can now look forward to an afternoon tea menu of familiar Singapore dishes with distinctively local flavours every day of the week. Aptly called the Singapore Heritage Afternoon Tea, it is a tribute to the local flavours every Singaporean is well familiar with, having grown up with it.
Diners can look forward to savouring items such as the Kueh Pie Tee, the popular traditional Nyonya snack made of crispy paper-thin pastry cases filled with vegetables and generously garnised with prawns, crabmeat, coriander and fried garlic and Nyonya Chicken Curry & Prata Wrap, a wrap of tender curry chicken in prata. The Chilli Crab Crispy Bun also entices as a scrumptious mid-day nibble of the iconic Singapore dish. The Rendang Turkey Ragout in Mini Vol Au Vent is another crowd favourite with turkey cooked in traditional spice and coconut marinade served in light and crisp puff pastry, as is the Cruffin with Masala Potato and Curry Leaves, a vegetarian flaky pastry filled with aromatic turmeric sautéed potato flavoured with curry leaves and mustard.
