Possibly the most famous French patisserie in town, Sophie Authentique started from a small shop in Kemang. Today, it has six stores in South and Central Jakarta. The store got its name from the founder, a French woman named Sophie, and word on the street is that her pastries are authentically made from her own personal recipes. Aside from croissants and the other usual goods, customers love their canele and Croque Monsieur and Madame. BTW, their coffee is pretty good too, and they have their own range of es kopi called Scophie (cute name, no?).
