Mitzo x Autchentoshan Whisky Pairing Dinner

For one night only, Brand Ambassador for Beam Suntory, Southeast Asia, Jamey Merkel will be hosting this exclusive culinary experience, and guests are in for a treat with Auchentoshan’s whiskies, namely the 12 Year Old, Three Wood and 18 Year Old.

 

The five-course menu created by Executive Head Chef Nicky Ng features dishes such as the Crispy Herbal Duck, Baked Truffle Codfish with Egg White, “Si Chuan” Styled Barbecued Pork, Braised Noodles with Scallops, complemented by three glasses of Auchentoshan Whisky. For desserts, Head Bartender Azlam Kadir prepares an indulgent dessert/cocktail, “Scottish Field” made with Auchentoshan 12-Year-Old, Licor 43, Scrappy Bitters, Angostura Bitters, Goji Berry Syrup and Coffee Foam.

 

Auchentoshan is one of Scotland’s most unique tripled distilled single malt Scotch whiskies founded in 1823, in the ‘corner of the field’ as the name says. Auchentoshan is part of the city and the city is part of Auchentoshan, drawing energy from the vibrancy of Glasgow’s culture. It is an alternative malt for newcomers and whisky lovers alike, great in the mix and best shared with friends.
