Malt Whisky Trail 5-Course Pairing Dinner

Bedrock Bar & Grill – the ‘Best Steak Restaurant’ by the Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) Epicurean Star Award 2019, invites you to The Malt Whisky Trail, a one-night only whisky pairing dinner. The dinner features guest speaker Paul Warathep Chandeeraj from International Beverage who returns to take you through exceptional Scottish brands such as the Old Pulteney and more, paired with a delectable 5-course dinner specially curated for the night.

 

Start off with the Bay Scallops with roasted cauliflower puree and caviar, while sipping on the Speyburn 10 years old, as hints of toffee and butterscotch enhance the dish. Delve into the Sugar Cured Beef with shaved cheese and celery salad, matched with the ‘master of malt’, the Old Pulteney 12 years old, with smooth flavours of honey and cream with a faintly salty and spicy note and sweet finish. The Seared Foie Gras with Japanese plum and toasted brioche are paired with the flavours of the Speyburn 15 years old, with notes of oranges, toffee, and vanilla all wrapped together with a gentle spice.

 

Tuck into the hearty Steak Au Poivre, a woodfire-grilled striploin with potato and black pepper mayo, and enjoy it with the Balblair 18 years’ masterful balance of juicy apricots and vanilla custard flavours. Complete the dining experience on a sweet and savoury note, with the Truffled Camembert with hazelnut and honey while sipping the AnCnoc Peatheart with a smoky burst of fruity flavours.
