Kickstart your National Day celebrations at KOMYUNITI even before the long weekend begins! From 5th to 11th August, KOMYUNITI will feature an exclusive National Day menu of local favourites with a twist, prepared by the new Head Chef Benny Lim, along with custom cocktails specially created by award-winning mixologist As’ad Isnin.
The Singapore Satay ($22) is a generous platter of chicken and beef satay skewers, complemented with refreshing cucumber and onion slices, ketupat and a dish of spicy peanut sauce. Familiar, satisfying, and delicious, enjoy every last bite of that caramelised meat.
What better pairing for a satay dish than with a satay cocktail? The rye whiskey-based Lau Pa Sat ($16++) features satay liqueur, charred pineapple oil, kopi-infused vermouth and smoke (an upgrade from your usual kopi in a bag).
Calling to mind the satay Uncle perched fanning his grill, this drink is a heady blend of what good days start, and end with. Enjoy this quirky tipple with a complementary mini Singapore Sling Jelly.
Also available is Nonya Breakfast ($16++), a Scotch whiskey-based cocktail featuring coconut liqueur and home-made Nonya kaya cordial. Topped with a delicate ondeh-ondeh blossom, this cocktail brings to mind the colourful traditional Nonya kuehs, with a lingering coconut fragrance that’s simply in-kueh-dible. Also served with a complementary mini Singapore Sling Jelly (pictured).
No meal is complete without dessert, and KOMYUNITI has created a delightful twist on a childhood favourite. The Chendol Panna Cotta boasts a luscious salted gula melaka cooked cream with pandan chendol, candied palm seeds, grass jelly and red bean adzuki.
To sweeten the deal, the Chendol Panna Cotta will be available to the first 54 patrons at just $5.40 each (U.P $9.80)!
