Ground-Breaking Okan Wagyu Takes Centre Stage At Bedrock Bar & Grill

Bedrock Bar & Grill continues with the third edition of its signature 2022 World Meat Series featuring the ground-breaking Okan Wagyu by Pardoo Beef from the desert-like Pilbara region of Western Australia. An ongoing six-year tradition till today, World Meat Series is a quarterly showcase of premium and lesser-known meats from around the world. From 7 September to 30 November 2022, diners can opt to top up for a Bodegas Montecillo 4-wine pairing at $88++ per person to go with the 5-Course Dinner Tasting Menu ($148++ per person), which is available only from Sundays to Thursdays. Selected dishes from the tasting menu are available as à la carte specials from $38++, in addition to a Bone Marrow with Smoked Bacon Jam Burger ($68++).

The name of the award-winning Okan Wagyu from Pardoo Beef means ‘King’s Crown’ or ‘fit for the emperor’, reflecting the prestigious quality of this F4 Purebred Wagyu derived from hand-selected cattle with the best Wagyu genetics.

More astoundingly, these cattle are raised in a man-made oasis amidst arid conditions to produce an exceptional variety lauded for its demonstrated provenance, clean taste profile, buttery flavour, and high marbling. Its success is also attributed to the use of innovative agriculture technology and Pardoo Beef’s expertise in Wagyu beef.
