A Valentine’s Evening at Restaurant Gaig

Pledge your love over an alluring six-course Catalan dinner ($168++ per person) at Restaurant Gaig on 14 February. The Valentine’s Day set menu will charm diners and their loved ones on the day that is dedicated to celebrating passion and romance.

 

The special night begins with an effervescent prelude with a glass of cava to welcome lovebirds, followed by an ambrosial starter of foie gras complemented with the bright flavours of green apple foam. The second tapa, mushroom soup, is served chilled and topped with crispy pork skin.

 

Diners and their Valentines will adore Gaig’s traditional cannelloni – a rich, luscious dish, and a signature of the restaurant.

 

Two main courses highlight the mesmerising flavours of Périgord black truffles. Fresh sole fish with black winter truffle is served with paprika, potato parmentier, and truffle sauce.

 

Epicurean lovebirds will be enchanted by the venison tenderloin with Périgueux sauce. The rich pairing of venison and black truffle is complemented with hints of liquorice from bittersweet Valrhona Araguani Dark Chocolate 72% and textural joy from caramelised nuts.

 

After eight, Chef Martí’s rendition of the well-loved confection, offers a lovely dessert of housemade sorbet made with fruity Valrhona Ariaga Dark Chocolate 66%, and adorned with crispy mint.

 

After an evening of ardent romance, sweet nothings are best paired with a complimentary selection of petit fours.

 

The six-course Valentine’s Day menu is available for dine-in at Restaurant Gaig for dinner(6pm to 10pm) on 14 February 2021. The menu is priced at $168++ per person.
