Contemporary woodfire gastronomic restaurant, Casa Restaurant by Remy Lefebvre, invites diners to a relaxing time of exquisite snacks, drinks and friendship at its stylish and cosy Wine Room. Open for lunch from 12 pm to 2 pm on Wednesdays to Fridays and 12 pm to 3 pm on Sundays; as well as dinner from 6 pm to 10.30 pm on Wednesdays to Sundays, the Wine Room is an intimate space within the restaurant where guests can unwind before or after their meal. The mood in the room speaks of cosy refined relaxation in an elegant setting of steel, wood, leather, and luxurious fabric, creating a sense of ease that evokes the welcome of a family home. Diners relaxing with drinks in the Wine Room can choose from a seasonal menu of savoury, sweet snacks and cheese available on an a la carte basis.
From now till the end of the year, Casa embarks on a partnership with Telmont, a house founded in 1912, known for producing exceptional champagnes from their ancestral vines in Damery, France. Diners can look forward to complimentary pairings of a sweet or savoury dish with each bottle of Telmont Champagne purchased at Casa’s Wine Room. The signature pairings comprise Octopus, smoked and wood fired with Sherry cask olive oil to compliment the Telmont Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2012 ($258++ to include a bottle and savoury dish), as well as an Almond “Ashta” sorbet with pomelo gel, orange confit, pistachio, olive oil cake & rose petal paired with the Telmont Brut Rosé ($165++ to include a bottle and dessert dish).
In line with Telmont’s sustainability ethos, the snacks will be presented on repurposed Telmont bottles, cut into functional serving plates. Additionally, for the month of November and December, any diner who purchases a bottle of Telmont Champagne at Casa will be entered into a lucky draw to enjoy an experiential session with Singapore’s first art glass recycling studio, Refind, to repurpose their bottle into glass housewares.
