Dia.lo.gue Art Space and Pabrikultur presents Komik itu Baik (Comics are good), a festival of Indonesian comics archive as an elaboration of the Indonesian Comics: Equatorial Imagination in Brussels for Europalia Indonesia 2017-2018. The festival also pays tributes to the late Arswendo Atmowiloto, a renowned journalist and writer best known for Keluarga Cemara. Visitors can learn about the history of illustrated stories in Indonesia from 1925 to the present day through archives, original notes, and drawings at the exhibition, and bring home a comic bookj (or more) at the comics bazaar.
