Get ready to throw up your devil horns as The Underground returns with a vengeance and salutes all things ROCK. The 2019 edition of Underground Rocks will showcase four Hong Kong bands who will take the audience on an insane rock ‘n’ roll journey.
Kicking off the show is Noisy Charlie, a relatively new band on the scene who were crowned Champions at a Youth Band Competition in 2017. The four-piece play inspiring rock mixed with other genres.
Next up is Esimorp whom we crowned winners in our 2017 Volkswagen x Underground Battle of the Bands which garnered more fans to propel them to FWD Stage at Clockenflap in 2018. They promise to bring more of their indie rock and ambient pop to this night’s showcase.
Next, mischievous quintet URANUS, who claim to have been awarded “Third Best Band in Hong Kong”, share their unique blend of riffs and humour that combine for an unmissable set.
The icing on the rock cake are working-class rockers After10, poised to close the show with their engaging live act, seasoned from performing in various festivals and events throughout Asia.
With its wall of video screens which make for jaw-dropping visuals, The Hub is the perfect venue to illuminate these four dynamic acts.
