About the artist, Roberta Boffo
Roberta Boffo is an Italian artist living in Sai Kung town.
She has been an art lover and a passionate creator from an early age when designing for her parents fashion house, in Oderzo, a small town in the province of Treviso, Italy. With an extensive experience in early childhood education in both Beijing and Hong Kong and a strong art background, Roberta continues to collaborate with art institutions and the local community to spread the joy of art.
Besides serving as an art adjudicator with the IYACC, Roberta is the founder of Roberta’s Art House (RAH), in Hong Kong. RAH is a business concept now with roots in a bright and cozy studio gallery, RAH Studio Gallery, in the centre of Sai Kung town where Roberta provides process-driven and interactive art workshops and programs for both adults and children. The ultimate platform for children to be artists and adults to find joy and their voice in art, nonetheless a connecting hub for all creatives in Sai Kung and Hong Kong.
With her first solo show in June 2018 in Sai Kung town been a great success, Roberta has shown her work in other group exhibitions and keeps producing art from her studio.
Roberta’s art will challenge your mind and eye, with her monochromatic, intricate and abstract creations, a mix of symbolism and semiotics and her immense love for line, shapes and forms. Dazzling art due to the radical simplicity of the artist’s creative spirit.
