One of the longest standing club-night in Bangkok, PhatFunk is throwing its 9-year anniversary party on Friday 7th June at De Commune.
Born in 2010 out of passion for Drum’n’Bass music, the PhatFunk collective has since thrown memorable parties packing hundreds and left its mark on Bangkok’s nightlife.
To mark the event, PhatFunk is inviting eight friends of the crew and local party organizers to share the turntables in a back-to-back fashion.
Amongst the DJs will be featured local socialite and tastemaker DJ Paulie, Bangkok club music luminary DJ Dragon and a long-awaited return of DJ King Kong with an exclusive Drum’n’Bass set.
Special guest of the night MC Dan Stezo will be hosting the party and holding the microphone all night long.
For the occasion, PhatFunk has commissioned famed street artist Rukkit to redesign the collective iconic logo. A limited collection of T-shirts featuring the Rukkit design as well as previous artistic collaborations will be available at the event.
To fuel the festivities, an open-bar will be available at the event courtesy of Singha beer.
