Parisian perfumery Maison 21G brings perfume concentrate straight to customers keen on customizing their own scent. Helmed by Johanna Monange, who’s been in the biz for two decades, the brand’s new Duxton Road space is sleek and scented.
Its line of 33 perfume concentrates come from a variety of sustainable, natural, and cruelty-free sources, and each single-ingredient one costs $70. But if you’d like a fragrance unique to you, take the Maison 21G’s personality quiz to find out your “scent style”, and you’ll receive three scent combination suggestions for three different occasions. With that information, take a whiff around the table of scents, find your two favorites to blend for the same price tag of $70, and have it concocted on the spot. Or if you just cannot pick one, get all three for $150.
Taking the custom-made experience further, the brand uses UV printing tech to let customers pick their preferred photo, design, or text to go on the bottle. But if you’d rather DIY at home, order the Soul Case to get two mini droppers of your perfume concentrate for you to mix into your bottle.
