In Myanmar alone, there are approximately 80 million plastic bags used each day. Many of these bags have a low recycling value and end up in landfill or in our oceans.
On Thursday evening, you are invited to visit the Dulwich College Yangon Pun Hlaing Campus to view Thant Myanmar’s installation ‘A Lifetime of Single Use Plastic’, sponsored by Yoma Bank.
After engaging with the three impressive structures, there will be a TED Youth talk by one of our students followed by a screening of ‘A Plastic Ocean’. The film screening will start at 6pm in the college’s black box theatre.
