Bloody Periods! We Love Them, We Hate Them!

Sign up at: https://period-comics.peatix.com/

Menstruation is an intimately personal yet shared experience that can sometimes be embarrassing to talk about candidly. But sharing your period stories can be both cathartic and a great way to reduce the stigma that surrounds the topic. Join comics creator @Andeasyand (Nurulhuda Izyan) for a creative night of drawing, conversation, and fun! Izyan will be sharing about the process of writing and illustrating A Drip. A Drop. A Deluge: A Period Tragicomedy, and how she began sharing her period stories through her comics. Participants will get to write and draw their very own period comic in this session!

All are welcome, no matter where you are in your menstrual journey, or whether or not you have experienced menstruation! Please note that participants under 13 years old will need to be supervised by a guardian.

This is an in-person event. Due to current safe management measures, only vaccinated persons will be allowed into the venue.

Paper will be provided but please bring your own stationery and drawing materials!

Pick from two ticket types:
1. General Admission – $5 for the workshop session
2. General Admission (Includes Deluge Bundle) – $26 for the workshop session and one A Drip. A Drop. A Deluge: A Period Tragicomedy Deluge Bundle.

One Deluge Bundle includes:

• 10 tragically comedic stickers

• Limited edition art print by Andeasyand (A6)

• Enamel pin to proudly display period positivity
