Whisky Journey is a first-of-its-kind bar and restaurant whisky trail held island wide from 11-20 December. Over 10 days, 15 bars and restaurants partnered with renowned international distilleries, will bring guests a unique whisky experience, and elevate local whisky appreciation through exclusive whisky tastings, innovative food-whisky pairings and vintage bottlings. Designed to be a whisky experience like no other, industry experts will also be on hand to provide recommendations while sharing more about the heritage and origins of each dram.
Whisky Journey is a celebration of the local bar scene, and hopes to support the F&B industry as we usher in a very different holiday season. Participating bars and restaurants include stalwarts like Wala Wala Café Bar and Cable Car 1890’s Saloon, as well as newer entrants such as Silvermalt and S L A T E. Together with partner distilleries from the likes of Bunnahabhain, Tomatin and Loch Lomond, Whisky Journey welcomes you to wander through the various whisky regions together and uncover the delightful world of whisky.
