Savour Sri Lankan luxury at the official launch soiree of Tambapanni Collective, SEA’s first platform dedicated to bringing only the best of luxurious Sri Lankan fashion, art, jewellery and experiences across international borders.
Hosted by CEO and Founder of Tambapanni Collective, Shimna Chandan, the soiree will entail showcases by some of the collective’s renowned designers with a fashion show, alongside a lavish 5-course dinner by renowned Sri Lankan chef Dharshan Munidasa from Ministry of Crab, one of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants (2015 – 2022).
Guests can look forward to original recipes by Chef Dharshan, including Crab Liver Paté, Avocado Crab Salad, Pepper Crab, Garlic Chilli Prawn, and Coconut Crème Brûlée, each served with premium wine pairings.
Celebrated fashion designer and pioneer of Sri Lankan Batik designs, Sonali Dharmawardena, will be revealing her Summer 2023 collection for the first time at the soiree.
Jewellery lovers will be in for a delight as jewellery designer Dr Iroshini Chua will be revealing a jewellery line created exclusively for the collective. The collective’s in-house curator, Suresh Dominic, will also host ‘The Collective’, a private art showcase for guests to meet and greet some of Sri Lanka’s leading artists.
The soiree will be held on 19 March 2023 from 7pm at 1880, the private members club at InterContinental Hotel Robertson Quay.
