Celebrate the Easter with a themed 3-course high tea at The Rose Veranda, an institution renowned for its sophisticated traditions of English high tea since 1991.
The afternoon begins with House Baked Chocolate Chip & Vanilla Scones with clotted cream and jam, together with an array of savoury sandwiches that include freshly baked Easter Hot Cross Buns with English camembert and spinach and Hotdog Bun Lobster Roll.
The choice of main course highlights delectable options such as Roasted Lamb Rack with grilled corn on cob, smoked eggplant, and mint jelly sauce, or the succulent 65oC Sous Vide Beef Short Ribs with honey glazed finger carrots and parmesan. For seafood lovers, the Pan-seared Crispy Salmon, served with orange beurre blanc and grilled broccoli, is set to delight.
End off on a high note with a tiered dessert stand brimming with Easter surprises – nibble on the festive treats of Strawberry Yuzu Rabbit Tart, Carrot Cake Garden and Raspberry Easter Basket.
Pair the High Tea experience with a range of exclusive teas handpicked by the hotel’s tea masters from tea producing estates across China, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, and Africa. Popular options include two teas exclusive to the hotel: The Rose Veranda Signature Tea is a blend of Nuwara Eliya and Dimbula tea from Ceylon, exquisitely flavoured with natural soursop, while the Shangri-La Tea is a robust fruity tea flavoured with natural vanilla & pomegranate.
