Multi-Cultural Taste of the Past Reinvented at Sampan

To mark Singapore’s 54th National Day, The Sampan has lined up an inspired list of dishes to celebrate the nation’s rich culinary origin. A four-course menu priced at $54++ has been designed by head chef Ahmad to remind Singaporeans of iconic dishes generations have grown up with – but increasingly harder to find. The dishes are a homage to classic recipes from a multi-cultural Singapore, subtly re-invented and bursting with rich flavours unique to the island nation. All served against the stunning Singapore River backdrop. The Asian Kitchen & Bar is the perfect spot to watch spectacular National Day Fireworks along the Singapore River.

Diners can relish a special rendition of classics reinterpreted such as Lemak Chilli Chicken Kueh Pie Tee, Rendang Chwee Kueh, Duck Satay Lilit, Prawn Popiah, Lamb Shank Tulang Merah, Pulut Hitam Pudding and Ang Ku Kueh. Menu Available from 22 July – 27 August.

The Sampan is open weekdays for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm and dinner from 5.00pm to midnight and Saturdays for dinner from 5.00pm to midnight.
