The Preludio Movement: Christophe Lerouy

Join Chef Fernando Arévalo and Chef Christophe Lerouy of Restaurant Lerouy as they creatively redefine what Monochrome can mean in the world of gastronomy.

The first chapter in Preludio’s story, Monochrome, has seen the team at Preludio working exclusively within the realms of black and white, constantly rewriting the perimeters of what these hues mean in the art of gastronomy and service. Now, through the Preludio Movement, Chef Fernando welcomes like-minded chefs to join the dark side, stepping away from what is known and embracing the creative liberation that emerges within boundaries.

The Preludio Movement is a series of one-night only dinners that will happen at different points along the year. It is beyond just a four-hands collaboration; it ups the ante by having chefs work creatively within the chapter of the season. There are no rules – chefs are given full rein to interpret the ongoing theme in their own way. Chef Fernando and his guest chef will collaboratively explore the theme with fresh eyes, coming out of their comfort zones to create dishes that also reflect their own culinary philosophy – all with a sense of fun and child-like curiosity.

First on the lineup is Chef Christophe Lerouy of Restaurant Lerouy, whose modern take on French cuisine promises an eclectic and exciting take on the prevailing Monochrome theme. Happening on 6th May, the 8-course degustation dinner ($238++) is a one-night exclusive and will see Chef Fernando and Chef Christophe presenting dishes in black and white. The bold, experimental style of both chefs and their penchant for constant innovation will make this dinner unforgettable and unlike any other.
