Shang Social Hairy Crab Feast

[Extended till 10 Nov] The Shangri-La Group is delighted to present “A Michelin-starred Journey with Chef Gordon Leung” in Singapore. The Shang Social Hairy Crab Feast, previously available from 14-15 October has now been extended to 10 November!

 

From now till 10 November, Chef Leung will take over the kitchen at the conceptual Shang Social, Jewel Changi Airport, where he will present a seasonal Hairy Crab Feast lunch and dinner menu. Shang Social will be hosting a seven-course Hairy Crab Feast that presents some of Chef Leung’s signature dishes that spotlight the seasonal hairy crab.

 

Delicious dishes include Braised Crab Meat and Roe Bisque with Shredded Fish, Wok-Fried Prawn and Hairy Crab Meat that showcase his special wokhei technique, and Steamed Hairy Crab and Pork Dumpling.

The seven-course meal is available at S$138++ per person. At S$158++ per pax, the meal comes with a 180ml bottle of 8-year-old Chinese Yellow Wine (Calabash Shao Xing Wine). “A Michelin-starred Journey with Chef Gordon Leung” showcases the collective might ofShangri-La’s international panel of best-in-class head chefs, sommeliers and restaurant hospitality teams. They bring to life the Shangri-La cuisine experience, which is shaped by combining Asian values towards dining, gastronomic innovation and award-winning specialist talent. In particular, the Shangri-La Chinese culinary team is focused on perfecting Cantonese and classic Chinese cuisine, championing regional Chinese dishes that might be under- discovered, and elevating Chinese food culture on the world stage.

 

Starting in Beijing, the international gastronomic tour will take place from September to October 2019, and will travel to Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
