Kicking off with Fresh Tap Thursdays on 8 April, enjoy special Japanese beers including the winner of the 2017 World Beer Awards – World’s Best Stout / Porter Kuri Kuro Dark Chestnut Ale 9% Miyazaki Hideji Beer Co. The line-up also includes the Swanlake Koshihikari Rice Lager, 5% Hyoko Yashikinomori Brewery, recipient of multiple local and international awards, AJB King Kong Knee Drop, 9.5% Anglo Japanese Brewing Co, a carefully crafted 9. 5% abv Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout, and the Ise Kadoya Pale Ale, 5%, Ise Kadoya Brewery, an English-style top fermenting ale.
If the spring drinks have you in the mood to celebrate nature, opt for the AJB Barrel Aged Bread Barley Wine, 9%, Anglo Japanese Brewing Co which is a single tank release with a percentage of sales from the beer to be donated to 530 week, an environmental organization in Japan.
To complement the Japanese brews, set menus all week will feature Japanese tapas as well as delicious food & drink pairings, prepared by a surprise guest chef! Guests can also look out for themed cocktails, sponsors, and even more.
