First Drop Wine has carefully selected a range of wines, each with distinct notes, to complement 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung’s innovative dishes. Indulge in tantalising dishes such as Pan-seared Foie Gras, served on toasted brioche with poached daikon, dark rum, raisin, and gula melaka glaze, complemented by First Drop Mother’s Milk Barossa Shiraz, with complex notes of vibrant dark cherry and blackberry. Enjoy 2GR Premium Wagyu Beef Striploin with burnt celeriac purée, lily bulb, cauliflower & truffle, and bone marrow sauce served alongside First Drop Fat of the Land Barossa Shiraz, with a flavour-packed palate of kirsch, prunes, dark chocolate, and liquorice. Finally, Yuzu Curd, paired with finger lime fizzy, marshmallow, and hojicha ice cream, is accompanied by the delicate Cockburn’s Fine White Port, with flowery aromas and hints of almond.
Founded in 2004, the winery is located in Barossa’s ‘Home of the Brave’ and is known for producing wines that are rich in flavour, texture and character sourcing fruit from vineyards in Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Barossa.
