Guilt Free Food (@guiltfreefoodsg) is next in the line-up of home-based bakers to take up residency at Baker X. From 10 to 23 October 2022, the resident baker will be offering an assortment of delectable and wholesome bakes such as cinnamon rolls, jumbo cookies, as well as gluten-free mochi muffins.
Joyce Chung, founder and baker of Guilt Free Food, is a mother who believes in providing real food for her children. To her, one should enjoy snacks without the guilt. This inspired Joyce, a dessert lover, to create delicious and healthful treats for the family, which eventually led to the inception of her home bakery – Guilt Free Food. Guilt Free Food’s bakes are all made fresh, from scratch and in small batches, with quality ingredients, reduced sugar and no preservatives.
Be spoilt for choice with their bestselling soft and fluffy Cinnamon Rolls – choose from a variety of different flavours such as Classic Glaze, Lemon Cream Cheese, Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter, PB Choc, Triple Chocolate and Matcha Tri-Choc. Enjoy savoury rolls such as the Cheesymite Rolls in Marmite or Vegemite, and Miso Kombu Rolls laced with organic white miso, kombu, shiitake mushrooms, and butter, then lightly glazed with a house-made sweet miso. These bakes are sold in 7” rolls (from $21), 10” rolls (from $30) and individual cup rolls ($3.80). Alternatively, opt for the combinations of Duo Flavoured in 7” or 10” rolls (from $26) or Quad Flavoured ($31 for 7” rolls; $42 for 10” rolls).
Debuting at Baker X are Guilt Free Food’s new range of gluten-free bakes. Choose from Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls in Classic Glaze ($7) and Salted Caramel ($8), and Mochi Muffins in Brown Butter ($5), Chocolate with Salted Caramel ($5.50), and Matcha Tri-Choc ($5.50). Satisfy your inner Cookie Monster with thick and chunky Jumbo Cookies available in Dark Chocolate Almond ($6.50) and Miso White Choc Macadamia with Cranberries ($7). Gluten-free options are also available for the cookies.
