On June 1, discover the history of Singapore, and its communities through food, at the first-ever Eat Your History @ Food Village, held in conjunction with the opening day of the Singapore Bicentennial Experience at Fort Canning Arts Centre.
Get the chance to sit in on one-of-a-kind sessions hosted by Singapore master chefs, Chef Sin Leong, Chef Hooi Kok Wai, Chef Haikal Johari, Chef Violet Oon and Chef Milind Sovani. They will demonstrate how these dishes are created, and taste the robustness of flavours that are now part of Singapore’s multicultural fabric.
Each session will be led by the respective master chef and hosted by Chef Eric Neo, Vice President of Singapore Chef Association.
This culinary journey represents how Singapore’s diverse people and cultures have come together, influenced and learned from each other to shape Singapore as we know it today.
This event is open to public and admission is complimentary. For more details of the sessions, head to https://www.bicentennial.sg/highlights/eat-your-history
