Commemorate Dragon Boat Festival with Yàn

From now till 3 June 2022, Yàn commemorates the Dragon Boat Festival with two savoury rice dumplings, each featuring either Cantonese or Sichuan elements. Meticulously hand-wrapped within lotus leaf, the dumplings unfurl to reveal an abundance of premium ingredients skilfully prepared with traditional Chinese techniques. Available for dine-in and takeaway via self-collection and delivery, guests can indulge in the timeless flavours over a meal at Yàn or at home.

The Steamed Glutinous Rice Dumpling with 6 Head Abalone, Roast Duck and Lotus Seed (八宝鲍鱼莲子鸭粽) ($33.80 per piece) demonstrates the renowned Cantonese culinary arts of braising and roasting. Tender 6-head Australian abalone is gently braised in superior stock for more than three hours. Accompanying this premium delicacy are deboned roasted duck leg and breast, diced Chinese sausages, and lotus seeds nestled within fragrant glutinous rice in lotus leaf.

Relish the robust Sichuan flavours with the Steamed Spicy Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Black Pork Fillet and Diced Shrimps (蜀味黑豚肉虾粒粽) ($22.00 per piece). Australian black pork tenderloin and dried shrimps are stir-fried with Sichuan peppercorn, Sichuan peppercorn oil, and chilli oil, highlighting the signature bold flavours of the region.

This year, Yàn also presents a takeaway Rice Dumpling Gift Set (粽乐礼盒) ($68+ per set) for sharing the festive delight and fostering togetherness with loved ones and corporate associates. Both festive rice dumplings, as well as Yàn’s Homemade Yellow Bean Chilli Sauce are presented in a recyclable paper box adorned with a ribbon.
