After the World’s 50 Best Bars 2023 award ceremony at Pasir Panjang Power Station on Tuesday, 17 October 2023, Rémy Cointreau will bring the celebrations to 33 Tanjong Pagar, where The Elephant Room reopens its doors in time to receive local and international cocktail enthusiasts alike. Rémy Cointreau is proud to present the venue’s first guest shift at the reopening of The Elephant Room, a highly-regarded cocktail bar by Yugnes “Yugi” Susela.
From 11pm to 1.30am, Billy Lai Him Choi — second runner-up of the recent Cointreau Global Margarita Challenge — from Quinary Bar, Hong Kong (No. 31 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023), will helm the bar at The Elephant Room to showcase his award-winning Margarita, alongside three other cocktails using spirits under the Remy Cointreau portfolio. The Elephant Room will serve a supper menu to complement the drinks.
To celebrate the successes of their peers worldwide, Remy Cointreau and The Elephant Room will also serve complimentary welcome cocktails and fried chicken sliders from 11pm to 11:30pm.
