Located in Telok Ayer district, Restaurant Gaig Singapore is the first international outpost of the Michelin-starred restaurant in Barcelona by chef Carles Gaig, a celebrated name synonymous with Catalan cuisine. This National Day, the restaurant celebrates Singapore’s birthday with a month-long tribute to a local dish – Oyster Omelette.
Exclusively from 1 to 31 August, savour the luxurious rendition of the local favourite specially created by Executive Chef Marti Carlos Martinez. The special dish – Oyster Omelette ($28.50+) features quail eggs where the egg white and yolks are cooked separately to present a delicate sunny side up, topped with oysters and caviar.
To elevate the celebration in the comfort of home, enjoy the Gaig family’s soulful recipes, some as old as 150 years. The takeaway and delivery menu showcases Gaig’s heritage dishes along with innovative fare inspired by memories and traditional recipes. The immersive repertoire presents a rich array of tapas, paellas and mains, and a cannelloni recipe that dates from 1869.
