This year, give mum a Mother’s Day gift she will always remember by treating her to a meal at Path. On 12 and 13 May 2023, the dinner prix fixe menus (from $188++) will feature a luxurious and refreshing dessert, Rejuvenate, that is sure to delight mum’s taste buds and bring a smile to her face.
Inspired by the classic “tong sui” (糖水) that Chef Marvas’ mother used to make for him as a child, this beautiful dessert is a nod to his fond memories with mum and his childhood.
Rejuvenate – Bird’s Nest, Longan, Nashi Pear – will be available as the main dessert for Path’s dinner prix fixe menus: a six- course titled Voyage ($188++), and eight- course named Expedition ($228++).
This dessert features a heavenly granité made from double boiled Korean nashi pear and dried longans, which are slow-cooked overnight to create a rich and flavourful base.
Served with the granité is a Korean nashi pear gel that holds a delicate jelly- encapsulated sphere filled with a blend of health-benefiting ingredients such as wolfberries, bird’s nest, gingkgo nuts and more Korean nashi pears and longans. The dessert is then finished with lotus bean, freshly diced pear and citrus; a feast for the eyes with its elegant presentation that will make mum feel truly special.
