Spectrum 2019 After Hours: Steve Reich’s Double Sextet

Classical music isn’t only for the concert hall—come experience Steve Reich’s works delivered in full urban flair at Esplanade’s latest flexible performance space.

 

Hear OpusNovus present Steve Reich’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Double Sextet, and London Sinfonietta’s principal clarinettist Mark van de Wiel perform the dynamic New York Counterpoint as well as the tight interlockings in Clapping Music. Multidisciplinary artist Theemptybluesky will also be presenting bold electronic music sets, accompanied by visual projections designed by Ryan Benjamin Lee.
