Intimate, joyous and searching, HUMANS 2.0 sees the performers find redemptive power in strength and fiercely celebrate what it means to be human – a message of hope as the world reels from pandemic fallout.
Created by Circa’s Artistic Director Yaron Lifschitz, with music by composer Ori Lichtik (Sharon Eyal/LEV), lighting by Paul Jackson, and ten of Circa’s finest ensemble members, this new work continues pushing the boundaries of what circus and acrobatics can be.
A symphony of acrobatics, sound and light, this is next level circus by Circa. HUMANS 2.0 pushes the boundaries of what circus can be. Intimate and primal, HUMANS 2.0 by Circa is a thrilling work of breathtaking acrobatics exploring what it means to be human. Towers grow and decay, bodies leap and are caught, as physical limits are pushed to their extreme. Created by circus visionary Yaron Lifschitz, HUMANS 2.0 is intimate, primal and deeply engaged with the challenge of being human as we struggle to find balance amid constant change and uncertainty.
HUMANS 2.0 is presented in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatre on the Bay.
