Join the award-winning Philharmonic Wind Orchestra for an exciting evening as they proudly present their long-awaited gala concert celebrating 20+ years of music-making in Singapore.
On the theme of the renewal of our planet and the human spirit, the gala concert marks PWO’s relaunch as the world emerges from the shadows of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert’s centerpiece, Johan de Meij’s Symphony No. 3 Planet Earth, will be accompanied by a special film screening and features Symphonia Choralis with support from Voices of Singapore. You can also look forward to Three Portraits by Dr Kelly Tang, Six Songs from a Shropshire Lad by George Butterworth (World Premiere of arrangement by Alexander Oon), and Gloriosa by Yasuhide Ito, in which the orchestra performs with conductors, soloists, and friends integral to PWO as a performing arts group in Singapore over the past twenty years.
