An annual one-evening showcase featuring BA(Hons) Fine Arts Level 2 and 3 students’ work from their elective modules – Video Art, The Performative Body, Fieldwork, Code Abstractions, Sound – A Mutual Tuning, and Artist as Curator.
Traditionally organised at LASALLE’s Winstedt campus, where an open-studio concept encouraged audiences to explore and interact with the works, this year’s edition has re-located to a digital space (@mcnallyfinearts on Instagram) due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With the theme ‘Bridging Normalities’, the 44 student-artists and student-curators endeavour to explore, create and present art that responds to the ‘new normal’. The programme for the showcase includes live and pre-recorded talks, Q&A sessions and BTS tours of the art-making process.
