S.E.A. Aquarium’s Junior Ocean Protector also returns from 27 May till 25 June, but with a twist! Both children and adults can participate in the programme, where they go on a guided trail to uncover interesting facts about marine animals. Each six-hour session also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes access at the aquarium – participants get to join Aquarists as they prepare food for the marine animals, see a shark’s egg up close and learn more about the lifecycle of sea jellies. There is even a craft workshop to teach participants how to assemble a portable microscope and use it to see tiny artemia – or brine shrimp – from S.E.A. Aquarium in detail.
The Junior Ocean Protector programme is for children aged 7 to 12 and an accompanying adult, with one session per day from Fridays to Sundays, from 9am to 3pm. Lunch is included.
