Art Reimagined: Singapore

Art Reimagined is a regional art project by Meta to empower traditional artists to break down physical boundaries, and give more people the opportunity to experience their art in a whole new way through augmented reality (AR) technology. The initiative brings together diverse artists and Meta Spark creators to transform artwork into mesmerising AR effects, where people can learn more about traditional art forms and cultures steeped in rich history.

Art Reimagined: Singapore
The Singapore edition of Art Reimagined will feature three local artists and their traditional art and performances – painter and Cultural Medallion recipient Goh Beng Kwan, inter-disciplinary artist and sculptor Kumari Nahappan, and traditional Malay choreographer Norhaizad Adam – who have collaborated with AR creators powerhouses – Dude.sg, Serial and GOWAAA – to bring to life interactive, immersive experiences.

Visit the exhibition at Hatch Art Project (7 Yong Siak Street, Singapore 168644) from 18-20 November, between 10am to 9pm. Learn more about the free exhibition and book a timeslot at https://artreimaginedsg.splashthat.com. The entire experience will take approximately 30mins.
