The event showcases 9 local artists who through their respective artistic genres will address the theme: How might we present stories of urbanization in Singapore affecting the ecosystems that are knitted to them, specifically cats? Their curated artistic expressions will provide new points of view in the ongoing dialogue focusing on cats and urbanization.
In addition to the showcase of the 9 exciting art pieces, you will be treated to an array of activities over the weekend of March 16 & 17 such as:
i) face-painting for children;
ii) adoption and painting of your very own mini cat figurine;
iii) an opportunity to meet and have your photo taken with Singapore’s very own celebrity cats
iv) a bazaar and
v) human-size cat mascots featuring Cat Sam & Cat Shiloh—————————
As part of 9 Lives Art & Design exhibition, we are also using art to raise funds for the sterilisation efforts of Cat Welfare Society.
