Similar to traditional TCM Qigong practices, Yoga is an ancient oriental art form for strengthening the body’s vital energy. It works to improve, strengthen or propel “Qi” or ‘energy’ to different parts of the body systems, which in turn leads to better recovery time, higher energy levels, a more robust immune function and improved restoration of balance to our body. Good movement uses the mind or the mental strength to guide the Qi (以意引气), and the positive effects can be enhanced through the understanding of the meridian theory and executing the movements along the meridian pathway.
The TCM Meridian – Collateral theory together with Acupuncture is a recognised therapeutic modality approved by the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) with proven efficacy in the treatment of a variety of ailments.
