The Chinatown Festival Committee, supported by Kreta Ayer – Kim Seng Citizens’ Consultative Committee kicks off the long-awaited Chinatown Chinese New Year Celebration 2023. The first full scale physical celebration in two years, highlights of the festival include its iconic street light-up and festivities that usher in the Year of the Rabbit under the theme ‘Leaping into the Prosperous Year of Rabbit (新春福兔迎新岁 富贵盈门庆丰年)’, signifying a year of rebirth, resurrection and vitality.
