A spectacular display of lighted sculptures and colourful street lanterns featuring designs that combine mooncakes with jade rabbits of popular folklore. This year’s signature light-up features larger-than-life lantern sculptures of mooncakes from Singapore’s main Chinese dialect groups: the Cantonese, Hainanese, Hakkas, Hokkiens and Teochews. The main centrepiece is displayed at Eu Tong Sen Street: a 10m-tall candy-coloured sculpture of snowskin mooncakes accompanied by lovable jade rabbits.

The Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival presents its first-ever Food Fair, which will see the former Chinatown Food Street transformed into a nostalgic, bustling bazaar with 16 stalls offering an array of street-style delights.

The ever-popular Lantern Painting Competition returns this year and invites all budding young artists aged 6 – 18 years old to present their best creative takes on a Mid-Autumn Festival lantern, with attractive prizes to be won.
