If you were in junior high or high school in the mid 2000s, you best believe that you listened to power pop band Hellogoodbye at some point. Helmed by vocalist and founder Forrest Kline, the band will be performing in Jakarta this weekend as part of Emo Night JKT, so you can reminisce about your teenage years (which may include that time you found out that your crush didn’t like you back).
The intimate concert is also a part of Hellogoodbye’s Gimme Some Living Room tour. This will be the band’s third time performing in the capital, as they had previously played here in 2010 and 2013. In this concert, Hellogoodbye will be performing in two sessions, consisting of acoustic and DJ sets. The band says they will donate the proceeds to plant one tree for every ticket sold. Friday, Feb. 7 at Panhead rooftop, Radio Dalam, South Jakarta, from 7pm onwards. Tickets available on Loket.
