T’angan: Hands Shaping Our Culture

Each of our clothes has a story, makes an impact, and has a cost — be it socially and environmentally. By understanding its journey, ethical fashion label SukkhaCitta believes that we can better understand the effects of our decisions so you can start making better ones. The label, which champions fair pay to its artisans and environmentally-friendly clothes, is collaborating with American renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and his Bach Project in an exhibition titled T’angan to explore how culture can help us build a kinder future — one where we feel connected to each other and to our planet.

On the exhibition’s opening day, there will be an opening of SukkhaCitta’s craft school called Rumah SukkhaCitta as well as a batik workshop by its artisans from Gesikharjo village in East Java. RSVP for the opening exhibition is available on Eventbrite, free of charge.
