Music streaming platform Spotify will hold the third edition of its live concert series, Spotify on Stage, and headlining the show will be none other than Jakarta’s very own Rich Brian. The 20-year-old Indonesian rapper, who’s now based in the US, is leading the festival’s lineup along with K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE and boyband ATEEZ.
This concert will be a homecoming performance of sorts for Brian, full name Brian Imanuel Soewarno, who last performed in the capital back in 2016 and 2017 under his former controversial stage name, Rich Chigga. Local musicians Arsy Widianto, Brisia Jodie, Marion Jola, and Rizky Febian will also perform on the Spotify stage. All of the concert’s performers are said to have a combined 15 million monthly listeners on the platform.
You must be a Spotify user to buy a ticket to the festival, with one account entitling you to purchase one ticket. If you’re a Spotify Premium user, you are entitled to early entry access at the venue. Ticket is IDR450,000 (US$32) excluding fees, available to purchase on Loket. More info can be found here.
