I Gusti Nyoman Lempad (1862-1978) was a Balinese painter, sculptor, and traditional architect who built many houses and temples on the island of Gods. Lempad was one of the Balinese artists who was influenced by the western arts, but his works were mainly inspired by local legends and myths, resulting in limitless and imaginative works. This exhibition will show several of Lempad’s works owned by art collectors in Jakarta and Bali. Don’t miss the special multimedia show, which combines the animations based on Lempad’s works and archives and experimental music, on Friday, June 28 – Sunday, June 30. The exhibition is closed every Monday and national holiday, as well as the days of special multimedia show.
