Wonder what a collaboration between French classical with Sundanese traditional music would be like? You can hear it for yourself this Saturday in a concert by Le Concert Impromptu, a French chamber music ensemble. The quintet was formed in 1991 and has been performing cross-genre operas in France and collaborating with musicians in the countries they visited. This time, they will be performing with Simpay Panaratas ensemble from Sumedang, West Java.
This concert is held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Indonesia and France’s diplomatic relations. More information here.
