Korea Indonesia Film Festival 2019

The annual Korea Indonesia Film Festival is back with some of the best new Korean films. The festival is a part of Korea Festival, which is held in October every year by Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI). Festival goers may learn about culture and the everyday lives of South Koreans through films such as The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos, Exit, Extreme Job, Bong Joon-ho’s Palme d’Or winning film Parasite, and the 2011 hit Sunny (which has its own Indonesian remake, Bebas, currently playing in cinemas). Several Indonesian films are also screened at the festival, such as Dua Garis Biru and Keluarga Cemara. Indonesian and English subtitles are available, full rundown of the festival can be seen here.
