The Riddim Sectiom is a Hong Kong based modern jazz trio focusing on playing rhythm & groove focused jazz music, featuring Mat Lui on bass, Aldous Yu on keys, and Akira Mimasu on drums.
The trio’s influences range from funk, to RnB, to breakbeat, resulting in a unique modern sound and approach to jazz music, bringing a fresh sound to live music in Hong Kong.
On January 23, the trio will be joined by a few special guests on percussion and vocals.
