Madison Fine Wine Auction

Madison Fine Wine Auction will be hosting its Fall auction on November 2 in Hong Kong, offering 870 lots of fine and rare wine and spirits from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Napa, Italy, Japan and more. The auction will take place at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on Saturday, November 2, 2019 with a low value estimate of HK$18,000,000 and high value estimate of HK$24,800,000.

More lots mean more highlights that collectors should not miss out on. Among the highlights from Bordeaux is a broad case quantity selection of Le Petit Cheval, Cheval Blanc’s second wine, with 1991, 1992 and 1993 vintages estimated between HK$150,000 – HK$206,000 and a stunning ex-chateau 2000 Château Mouton Rothschild in 5L format (est. HK$120,000 – HK$160,000). A 2010 DRC Assortment case at an estimated HK$260,000 – HK$350,000 is the highlight from 31 lots from Domaine de la Romanee Conti. Top Burgundy wines include selections from Claude Dugat, Latour-Giraud and Bruno Colin, while offerings from Domaine Leroy & Armand Rousseau are also not to be missed. Besides these French treats, gems from Tuscany, California, Portugal and Germany will also be offered on the day.

Wines from the New World will also feature prominently. These include the 6L Penfolds Grange 1985, only two of which are produced per vintage and a wider selection of US wines such from, Sine Qua Non, Bond Estates, Harlan, Dunn and a magnum of the legendary 1974 Heitz Cellars Martha’s Vineyard.

The auction will also offer some outstanding spirits including a premium Moutai baijiu estimated at HK$1,600,000 – HK$2,400,000, rare Scotch and Japanese whiskies with an estimate range of HK$2,500,000 – HK$3,400,000, as well as vintage Champagne from Salon, Dom Perignon and Krug.
