Art is at the core of designer hotels Ovolo, from 5-6 October as part of Art Map 2019, Ovolo Southside in the cultural neighbourhood of Wong Chuk Hang will play host to Hong Kong’s first ever video art fair by FLAME HK in support of local and emerging artists.
Pioneering Ovolo Southside, a warehouse conversion hotel, is the perfect venue to celebrate the groundbreaking multi-dimensional art forms. Proud of their longstanding commitment to the wider art community, Ovolo is excited to provide a platform for up-and-coming artists to exhibit their work and engage in dialogue while empowering the creative medium of video. Prompting all to see ‘outside the frame’ and consider different perspectives, the work holds one’s attention captive, even in this era of information overload, forcing each guest to pause and discover a unique narrative.
“This partnership with Art Map and the FLAME HK exhibition firmly shows Ovolo’s commitment to Hong Kong’s creative community and support of emerging artists,” said Stephen Howard, Group Marketing Director, Ovolo Group.

Prized artwork from 30 renowned galleries including the JingLü Gallery and YIRI ARTS from Taipei, Keumsan Gallery from Seoul and Hong Kong’s a.m. space will all be featured in this one-of-a-kind video and multimedia exhibition.
