Although the industry experienced a downturn in the 1980s, Sham Shui Po has remained popular with designers and craftsmen, thanks to the sheer variety and affordability of material on offer. The best way to peruse these wares is by visiting the main shopping streets, where you’ll find vendors specialising in different types of accessories or fabrics.
