Leading international design practice HASSELL has curated a selection of 18 of the most exciting and dynamic presentations in 2019 Graduation Shows from the design schools of four Hong Kong universities; Hong Kong University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Design Institute. Curated by Dennis Ho, Principal of HASSELL with HASSELL’s architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture teams, the exhibition focus is led by four broad topics; Housing Issues, Healing Space, Sustainability and Adaptation.
Each of the projects selected brings a unique new perspective to some of the most pressing design issues of our age. Collectively the design concepts presented in CROSS-OVER represent a blurring of disciplines, typologies, scales and design processes – the ‘cross-over’ that any future-relevant design thinking needs to embody.
